This course gives learners a solid foundation in recognising signs of mental health issues and how to start a supportive conversation.
You'll learn how to:
- Develop basic awareness of mental health conditions
- Recognise early signs someone may be struggling

- Know how and when to signpost someone to appropriate support

This qualification builds deeper knowledge and practical skills. You'll gain an understanding of a broad range of mental health conditions and how to support someone who may be experiencing them.
In this course you will:
- Identify mental health conditions, triggers and common symptoms
- Learn and apply the First Aid for Mental Health Action Plan
- Practice how to support someone in distress or crisis
